AFRiCAN I CAN — Aya
Cream ground. Front: bold block type across three lines — "AFR", then an oversized "i" with a round dot that reads as both letter and standing figure, then "CAN". The declaration is built into the typography itself: AFRICAN. I CAN. Back: the Aya fern — the Adinkra symbol of endurance, independence, and defiance — rendered large in black. Every frond. The full double-loop base. I am not afraid of you.
All Roads Lead to Ghana
Amber ground with Ghanaian city names in dark cursive script — Accra, Cape Coast, Takoradi, Bolgatanga, Tamale, Sunyani, Hohoe, Elmina, Kintampo, Winneba, Ashaiman, Aflao, Mampong, Dodowa, Tema, Kibi, Aburi, Volta, Lashibi, Agona Swedru, and more — rolling across every surface like a love letter to every corner of the country. Black bands at top and bottom anchor the map. The nation, named and claimed.
Bogolan
White ground. All-over bògòlanfini geometric marks — X-crosses, chevrons, double horizontal bars, dot-dash sequences — repeating boldly in black across the full body, front to back. Drawn from a West African art tradition that has been read, worn, and carried forward for centuries. Pattern as archive. Ink on cloth.
Kemet Eye of Horus
Black ground. The gold Eye of Horus — the Wedjat, Kemetic symbol of protection, wholeness, and clear sight — rendered oversized and edge-to-edge across both faces of the bag. Not as accent. As presence. You don't wear this one. It watches.
The Construction
100% spun polyester body. Black cotton webbing handles. Flat T-bottom at 24"×13". Black 50/50 cotton-poly lining. Structured enough to hold its shape, large enough to mean it. Spot clean or dry clean only. Designed in Accra.
