The Design

The Ground

The body of this jacket is the design. Deep amber and golden-orange tones — weathered, textured, alive — render the rich earth of the Ghanaian landscape across every panel. Not a print applied over a base. The ground itself is the statement. Quilted horizontal stitch lines cross the surface, adding tactile depth without breaking the terrain. It moves differently in sunlight. That's intentional.

The Border Bands

Structure and ceremony at the edges. A bold black stripe anchors the hem, crowned by rows of terracotta triangles in alternating directions — geometric precision that reads as both decoration and declaration. The stand-up collar carries the same grammar: a tight band of terracotta triangles, black-outlined, bringing the earth up to meet the face. The ribbed black cuffs keep the wrists clean and grounded — the contrast holds the whole silhouette together.

Build & Features

Construction

A shorter padded silhouette, cropped and built for movement. Full zip closure down the centre front. Two pouch pockets at the hip, deep enough to matter. Stand-up collar for protection against the cold. Cotton-like padded lining that holds heat without bulk. This is a jacket that works as hard as it looks. The print on the garment body is fade-resistant — the colour stays, season after season.
