The Marks
Bògòlanfini — the West African art of hand-dyeing fabric with fermented mud — has spoken in geometric language for centuries: crosses, triangles, dashes, and dots that encode stories, status, and protection. Here, those marks are translated onto a contemporary piece without losing any of their weight.
White on Black
The body runs deep black and uninterrupted. On each front pocket, a bold white bògòlanfini X-cross holds centre stage — elaborate, dotted, layered with geometric detail. At the leg openings, a border band of repeating marks — X-crosses, triangles, and vertical dashes in deliberate rhythm — seals the hem. Minimal in coverage. Maximum in meaning.
The Fit
A V-neck front with slender straps — square-set at the back — and a relaxed harem-style tapered leg built for ease and movement. Two deep front pockets anchor the print and hold your essentials. The cotton-like fabric (170g/m²) is soft, breathable, and skin-friendly. Ideal for travel, beach days, loungewear, and any occasion that deserves a piece with this much history in it. Available in XS through 2XL. Designed in Accra.
