Worn as a set, the declaration wraps the entire body. At the seam where the two pieces meet, the text bands align and the message reads without interruption. Designed in Accra.

Chest & Hood

AFRIKA FOR AFRIKANS sits centred on the chest in clean block type — AFRIKA and AFRIKANS in white, FOR in gold. The same statement wraps the hood rim as a continuous text band, visible whether the hood is up or open. White flat drawstrings. Kangaroo front pocket.

Hem Band & Cuffs

AFRIKAFORAFRIKANS repeats without break along the ribbed hem band — the same phrase that wraps the jogger's waistband. Worn together, the two bands meet at the centre of the body and read as one continuous line. The ribbed sleeve cuffs carry the declaration too. Every edge holds its ground.

AFRIKA FOR AFRIKANS descends the full length of the right leg, letter by letter, hip to ankle — white, gold, white. The waistband carries a second declaration: For those who must return. For those who never left. Two truths. One waist. The leg and the band speak to each other in the same two tones.

Construction

Unisex fit with a relaxed tapered leg and side-seam construction. Adjustable drawstring waist with white flat drawstrings. Ribbed ankle cuffs. The espresso ground is clean on the back and left leg — the declaration on the right carries the full statement without needing more.
